Thousands of people with a varying degree of hearing loss from Black, Minority and Ethnic (BME) backgrounds across Leicester and Leicestershire are missing out on support services, according to a leading D/deaf charity.
Volunteering Englandand Voice4Change Englandare pleased to invite you to a policy and research seminar on BAME communities and volunteering.
Volunteering takes place in all areas of our society, but sometimes there are barriers to different groups working together. In particular, members of black, Asian and other minority ethnic groups may experience barriers to volunteering outside of their own community.
