The 2011 Voice4Change England Parliamentary Reception, From Shared Vision to Shared Action was sponsored by Virendra Sharma MP and held in the House of Commons. It focused on the future of the sector looking at how we can take forward the recommendations from our publication A Shared Vision for the future of the BME VCS. Held the day after OCS’ announcement that no equality-led organisations would be strategic partners under the transition strategic partners’ programme, it also gave an opportunity for people to react to the decision.
The overwhelming support for V4CE on the day led to the launch of the Big Unfair Society campaign.
