We are holding a policy and parliament training session in Sheffield on Wednesday 26th March 2014 in partnership with the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) and the Parliamentary Outreach Service.
The course will cover:
- Parliament; The House of Commons and House of Lords, the role of MP's and Members of the House of Lords
- The policy making process & how to make your voice heard
- How to plan your lobbying or policy work
The free session is aimed towards BME communities and voluntary sector organisations who have little or no experience of lobbying or policy activity.
