After the riots

Speakers will include children and young people, parents, community, faith and voluntary group representatives. In taking forward our Communities Against Violence network the Race Equality Foundation intend to encourage a collaborative response by black and minority ethnic voluntary organisations to the August disturbances.

The event

The aim of the conference is to gather different
perspectives on the events to:

  • Hear from a range of voices
  • Explore the implications for race equality of the August riots
  • Understand what needs to be done to progress race equality
