Help create an accurate assessment of the impact of public spending and welfare benefits cuts on communities living in the Bradford district.
A number of VCS partners in Bradford have come together to organise a Community Equality Impact Assessment event to enable the collation of baseline data from the sector to help assess the impact of public sector cuts on vulnerable communities.
The event is especially targeting organisations working with protected groups under the Equality Act and those experiencing poverty.

The information will be used to influence future spending decisions and to lobby for change. This is becoming increasingly critical as the Coalition government is committed to a five-year public cuts strategy and the financial settlement to local authorities will continue to decline in the coming financial year.
